The Gate Institute Hosts Packaging Workshop at EUSL Technopark
The Gate Institute successfully conducted a Packaging Workshop on 14 November 2025 at the Technopark Auditorium, Eastern University of Sri Lanka (EUSL), with the active participation of 32 entrepreneurs.
The main hands-on training session was delivered by Rehoboth Unic Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, providing participants with practical exposure to modern packaging techniques. In addition, Wayamba Digital Pack (Pvt) Ltd conducted a special session on digital packaging and labelling solutions, offering insights into emerging technological trends in the sector.
The Gate Institute’s Director, Ms. Mathangi Selvarajah, led an informative session on the GIVE Platform and introduced key concepts related to packaging and market readiness. The programme ran productively from 12.00 pm to 5.00 pm, giving participants ample time to learn, interact, and refine their skills.
Special appreciation is extended to the Industrial Development Board (IDB), Small Enterprises Development Department (SEDD), District Secretariat, Batticaloa, and Technopark for their continued support in making this event a success.
