A Discussion with Entrepreneurs in Vavuniya
An awareness meeting about The Gate Institute’s ‘Gate for Innovation Venture and Entrepreneurship (GIVE)’ project, which will be implemented in underserved communities in Sri Lanka, was held on March 16, 2024, at the University of Vavuniya’s premises on Park Road, Vavuniya.
Over 150 small and micro-entrepreneurs from Vavuniya District enthusiastically participated in this meeting organised by the Career Guidance Unit of Vavuniya University.
Vice Chancellor of the University of Vavuniya Prof. T. Mangaleswaran, Director of University Business Linkage(UBL) Dr.(Mrs). P. Malathy, Career guidance Counsellor of the University of Vavuniya Mr Sasitharan Paramanantham, Director of the Harmoney Centre of Vavuniya University Mrs S. Mathivathany, CEO and Co-Founder of The Gate Institute, UK DR Senthan Selvarajah and Co-Founder of the Gate Institute, UK Mr S. Mangaleswaran and Asst Professor Rajib Timalsina of Tribhuvan University, Nepal attended the meeting and explained how to take advantage using GIVE project.
